What is MOVE Culver City?
The MOVE Culver City project will connect Downtown Culver City with the Metro E-Line station and the Arts District with a new mobility lane. This project strives to make the roadways in Culver City safer and more efficient by creating dedicated lanes for bikes, buses (and more!) in both directions on Culver Boulevard and Washington Boulevard. The 1.3-mile project will run between Culver Boulevard at Duquesne Avenue and Washington Boulevard at La Cienega Avenue. This project will utilize a quick-build process that results in temporary improvements and provides the flexibility to update the design in the future.

About the Mobility Lanes
The new mobility lanes will support a variety of mobility options, including transit, bikes, scooter-share, e-bike share and a new downtown Circulator service, utilizing a new all-electric mini-bus. The Circulator service is scheduled to begin on November 20, 2021, and it will be free of charge through June 1, 2022.
Pre-Implementation Survey
The City would like to invite community members to take the MOVE Culver City Pre-Implementation Survey.The survey is intended to provide a baseline data set that shows how people currently get around the corridor, and the results will be used for future evaluation and comparison with post-project implementation.

MOVE Culver City Construction Updates
Construction contracts have been awarded to CalStripe Inc., Crosstown Electrical and Data, Inc., and LNI Custom Manufacturing for the removal of existing striping, installation of new striping, installation of bus and bike platforms, and asphalt art treatment along Culver and Washington Boulevard from Duquesne Avenue to La Cienega Avenue. The general area will be impacted from October 11, 2021 to November 19, 2021. One travel lane per direction will be maintained at all times, but please expect interruptions and avoid the area if possible.
Most of the work will be performed between 8:00 am through 5:00 am (next day), Monday through Friday. Intermittent weekend work is planned as well.
You may also experience construction noise and dust even though every effort will be made by the City and the Contractor to minimize these inconveniences. Businesses and their access points will remain open during construction. Your patience and cooperation in observing all traffic controls, parking restrictions and traffic control workers will be sincerely appreciated and will help in expediting construction of the project.
