About Bike to Work Day 2024

May is National Bike Month and Thursday, May 16, is Bike to Work Day in LA County. 

Start your work day with fresh air and exercise! Enjoy meeting other cyclists and pick up free goodies at various Bike to Work Pit Stops along your route.

On National Bike to Work Day, enjoy free rides with a bike or bike helmet on Culver CityBus, Metro, Metrolink, and other local transit agencies. Biking is not only good for your health but also benefits the city and the environment.

Metrolink is offering free rides from Monday, May 13 to Friday, May 17, to passengers who bring their bike onboard the train.

On May 16, 2024, Culver CityBus will join Bike Culver City, in celebrating Bike To Work Day from 7:30 am - 10 am. Stop and say hello on the Washington Blvd side of the Ivy Station Building next to the Culver City Bike Lanes OR at the Duquesne entrance to the bike path happening at the same time. Get information about biking, SWAG, a snack, and plenty of high fives!
